EQUiPP is a research project with a bold vision: to change the way Australians understand pain.

We are working with communities in the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria to co-design and roll out a pain science education campaign across 2025/26, then evaluate the impact this has on people, their health and how they access healthcare.

Yesterday, UniSA’s Mount Gambier campus hosted a community outreach event, education session, and community dinner, marking the start of the Pain Revolution Rural Outreach Tour. It also marked the start of the EQUIPP project’s Phase Zero community engagement with Dr Lousie Wiles, Prof Ian Gwilt and Dr Aaron Davis kickstarting conversations with community members from Mt Gambier and surrounding areas.
