Campaign countdown begins
The EQUiPP Project team are excited to share some news!
A new community pain education campaign will soon begin across the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria — a community-driven initiative designed to build understanding and improve care for people living with chronic pain.
Starting in early 2026, the campaign will roll out across seven towns in South Australia and Victoria — Horsham, Hamilton, Stawell, Ararat, Mount Gambier, Millicent and Naracoorte — through a range of activities tailored to each community based on what you shared with us during our co-design workshops. You might spot a billboard on your way to work, hear a radio advertisement, or come across campaign activities and events in your local community.
To everyone who joined our co-design workshops — thank you for your time, ideas and energy. Your input directly shaped the messages, resources and approach underpinning this community campaign.
In total, 232 local residents took part in 19 workshops across our seven participating communities — an incredible contribution that helped us understand how best to deliver contemporary pain education where it's needed most.
We look forward to continuing this work with you as we move into the next stage of the project. Together, we're building a stronger community understanding of pain and supporting better pain care across the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria.
